Terms and Conditions for Fjord Florals
Welcome to Fjord Florals. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our online platform and the services we provide. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

- "Fjord Florals", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Fjord Florals, a floristry and event design company located at 78 Victoria Street, Floor 2, Wellington, Wellington, 6011, New Zealand.
- "You" or "your" refers to the user or customer of our services.
- "Services" refers to the fresh flower arrangements, custom floral designs for weddings and events, corporate floral services, local flower delivery, floral workshops, and plant sales offered by Fjord Florals.
- "Online platform" refers to our website and any associated digital interfaces through which our services are offered.
2. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Fjord Florals. Your use of our online platform and services signifies your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in full. We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our online platform. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
3. Our Services
Fjord Florals provides a range of floral services designed to bring beauty and elegance to your life and events. Our services include:
- Fresh Flower Arrangements: Daily available arrangements for various occasions.
- Custom Floral Designs: Tailored floral solutions for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions.
- Local Flower Delivery: Delivery services within specified local areas.
- Floral Workshops: Educational sessions on floristry techniques.
- Plant Sales: A selection of plants for home and office.
Please note that flower availability is seasonal and dependent on market conditions. While we strive to match all requests, substitutions of equal or greater value may be necessary. We will inform you of any significant changes.
4. Ordering and Payment
Orders for our services can be placed via our online platform or by contacting us directly. All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are subject to change without prior notice. Payment is required in full at the time of order placement for most services, excluding certain event designs which may require a deposit and a payment schedule. We accept various payment methods as indicated on our online platform. For custom event designs, a detailed quotation will be provided, outlining payment terms and a cancellation policy.
5. Delivery Policy
We offer local delivery services within Wellington. Specific delivery areas, charges, and times will be communicated during the order process. It is your responsibility to provide accurate delivery information. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses or the absence of the recipient. For successful delivery, please ensure someone is available to receive the flowers or provide instructions for a safe drop-off location.
6. Cancellation and Returns
- Fresh Flowers & Plants: Due to the perishable nature of our products, cancellations for fresh flower arrangements and plants must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery or pick-up time for a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance.
- Custom Event Designs: Cancellation policies for custom event designs will be outlined in your specific contract or quotation. Typically, deposits are non-refundable, and additional fees may apply depending on the stage of planning and material procurement.
- Workshops: Cancellations for workshops must be made at least 7 days in advance for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days but more than 48 hours prior to the workshop will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the workshop, though a transfer to another participant may be permitted.
- Returns: Due to their perishable nature, we do not accept returns on fresh flower arrangements or plants unless the product received is significantly faulty or damaged. Any issues must be reported within 24 hours of receipt with photographic evidence.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our online platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and floral designs, is the property of Fjord Florals or its content suppliers and is protected by New Zealand and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
Fjord Florals will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, our services or online platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business interruption. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content are error-free. Our liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
